Use This Doc For
Workflow
- Create the owner account and enter the company’s business context, including location, markets, customers, risk posture, and data-residency needs.
- Review AI providers only after that context is captured. Personal, consumer, and unknown hosted connections remain limited to public or synthetic material until their business terms are reviewed.
- Use the COO’s provider guidance when the decision is unclear. The COO consults the Data Governance Agent and returns validated source links, explicit unknowns, and one safest next action without sending customer data or secrets to obtain advice. If the available evidence is stale, mismatched, or incomplete, DPF says it cannot confirm the claim and keeps the safer provider posture.
- If you are not ready to choose, select Skip safely or Review later. Skipping does not approve a hosted provider: company and customer data remain restricted until the missing review is complete.
- At Meet Your COO, optionally choose how your standing AI COO is addressed. Suggestions such as Number Two, General, or Alex are starting points; Keep COO leaves the role-only default. DPF always displays a chosen name with AI COO and the choice never changes permissions, authority, audit identity, or owner accountability. You can change or clear it later from the COO’s AI Workforce record.
- Confirm the first internal user can authenticate and reach the internal shell.
- Move into the relevant operational area only after setup and first-login checks succeed.
- When creating the Storefront, confirm the main product line and select only
adjacent lines the business genuinely sells. The organization is the
provider by default; setup does not create placeholder customers, teams,
subscribers, or entitlements.
- New backlog demand explicitly linked to one of those confirmed product
lines, business Products, or a real
DigitalProduct enters Delivery Flow as
Raw. Existing unscoped backlog records remain Needs classification;
setup never guesses their intent or backfills a score.
- Product and product-line roadmaps remain empty until real demand passes the
governed funding gate and is explicitly linked to an active product
objective. Setup does not manufacture roadmap bets, dates, dependencies,
teams, or consumers from the selected product mix.
- Setup does not activate recurring product-management work. After real
product evidence exists, an owner may open Product or ProductLine
Direction, preview a coworker playbook’s exact read/write and approval
boundary, and explicitly opt into its suggested cadence. A simple
one-line business is not asked to configure enterprise scheduling,
product teams, business units, or placeholder consumers.
Help Visibility Policy
/setup should expose a visible help link because it is still an internal operator workflow.
/login, /forgot-password, /reset-password, /welcome, and /sandbox-restricted should not expose internal docs links directly.
/portal/*, /customer-login, /customer-signup, /customer-complete-profile, /customer-link-account, and public storefront /s/* routes should not expose internal docs links.
- Public, portal, auth, and token-action surfaces still need explicit documentation coverage decisions, but those decisions do not automatically mean a visible internal Docs button.
